Demolition

The scope of work included the removal of existing hazardous materials, seismic retrofit and the complete replacement of all electrical and effort aimed to reuse as much of the original building fabric as possible.

Run Conduit

Electrical conduit is metal or plastic pipe through which electrical wires are run. Either rigid or flexible, conduit protects the wires and is used in exposed locations, such as along the exterior surface of a wall.

Wire Pulling

A pull string is a thin cord used to pull cable through the conduit. The pull string must extend through the entire length of the conduit before cable can be pulled. This can be done by a manual method using fishtape or by pressurized air methods using a foam rat or a foam ball attached to a pull string.

Transformer Installation

Ensure the area is well ventilated and free from explosive or corrosive gas or vapors. Check the transformer nameplate and verify that it is the correct kVA, frequency, line and load voltage for the application. Mount the transformer securely.
